The 1,000-square-foot Pool Pavilion is thoughtfully sited within its natural environment, opening broad views to the stunning east and west gardens. Elevated along an elongated axis, the living areas open toward the swimming pool, fire pit, outdoor jacuzzi, and surrounding gardens, inviting a life of entertainment.
At the heart of the building, the bathroom is thoughtfully positioned between the kitchen/dining area and the man cave, serving as the spatial core of the pavilion. The main living spaces are framed as glass volumes with eight-foot tempered sliding walls, while a floating metal roof with deep overhangs provides shade and shelter for social gatherings.
The pavilion’s character is shaped by its materials and detailing — the articulation of ceilings and walls, and the play of texture and light. Interior walls are clad in recycled wood from local wine barrels, and natural redwood siding defines the exterior. Continuous travertine flooring extends from the interior to the patios, creating a seamless connection to the landscape.
